Metropolis Zoo was part of Metropolis that Mr. Mxyzptlk and King Brpxz teleported to Imp World and interleaved with Central City when they challenged Flash and Superman to race each other. After Flash won, Mxyzptlk declared Metropolis was Imp World's new tourist attraction. Imps flocked to the Metropolis Zoo until Flash undid what was done to the two cities with his wish.
