Markovia is a European country. A young girl named Terra Markov manifested the ability to control the element of earth. Markov's parents freaked out and thought she was possessed by evil. Word spread and people thought she was a witch or a demon. She was tied up and dragged around in a circle while other Markovians chanted for her to die. A Markovian man held a gun to her head. Deathstroke intervened and sliced his head off. He invited the others to live or die. They all ran away. Deathstroke removed his mask and introduced himself.
