Interlaken is a town and municipality in Bern, Switzerland. Ra's al Ghul kept a compound in Interlaken. After his death, Deathstroke took over it and kept Francine and Rebecca Langstrom hostage there while Dr. Langstrom worked on finishing his Man-Bat Serum. Talia led a band from the League of Assassins and stormed the compound but set off explosives. Deathstroke knocked out Talia and imprisoned her. With Batman and Robin's arrival imminent, Deathstroke took Talia with him to the Outer Hebrides. Dr. Langstrom told Batman his daughter spoke of two mountain peaks that looked like cat ears. Damian Wayne instantly recognized the description and told Batman she was describing Interlaken. The two took the Batplane and found the Langstrom's behind a false wall. Batman directed them to a landing pad on the other side of the compound and alerted Interpol to pick them up.
