Ichabod is a town located 60 miles away from Gotham City. It appeared to be a working town and home to Schott's Toys. Some time after the toy company's original owner, Winslow Schott, was imprisoned, the factory was taken over by his son and victim Anton Schott. The factory did well for a time. Ichabod was devastated by floods. Three years later, Schott took on the name Dollmaker and kidnapped children who bought products from Schott's Toys. Robin found the connection, stole the Batmobile, and went to Ichabod on his own. While Batman flew to the town in the Batplane, Robin encountered Dollmaker, his victims, and creations inside Schott's Toys. Talon appeared to Robin and executed Dollmaker then vanished. Batman assumed the worst and thought that Robin did it. State police soon converged on the town.
