The Central City Police Department houses a Crime Scene Investigation unit in its Forensics department. Barry Allen is a member of this unit. During the initial appearance of the Flash, the CSI was redirected to essentially act as a Flash Task Force and spent work hours tracking the super-human and gathering information in hopes of unmasking and arresting the individual.
