The Lasso of Truth is a tool used by Wonder Woman. When a person is bound by the lasso, its properties compel them to speak the truth. During the invasion of Earth by Darkseid, Wonder Woman notably used the Lasso of Truth to save the President of United States when he fell from Air Force One and against Darkseid when she moved to stab his right eye. In the Atlantean incident, Wonder Woman used it against Trenchers, Atlanteans, and to disarm Orm of the Trident. The Lasso proved effective in forcing Trigon's Corruptors out of their hosts when Wonder Woman captured the possessed Weather Wizard and later when Superman used it on a possessed Wonder Woman herself. Falling to the madness of the Dreamstone, Wonder Woman lunged at Batman. Zatanna cast an incantation and Wonder Woman was tied up in her own Lasso of Truth. Wonder Woman joined the battle against Doomsday in Suicide Slum after half the League was defeated. She snagged one of its legs with the lasso and threw it up into the sky.
