Martian Manhunter became a member of the Justice League at some point during the Trigon and Destiny incidents. He attended the League meeting at the Hall of Justice to go over the global outbreak of nightmare crimes caused by Destiny and the Dreamstone.
As the Justice League cleaned up the ruins of the Hall of Justice, Aquaman detected a telepathic call for help. Martian Manhunter helped him remove a piece of fallen debris. Clyde, Superman's pet octopus, was unharmed. Aquaman told the story of how he and Superman met Clyde and were saved by him. Aquaman learned Clyde wanted to go home and honored his request. Martian Manhunter walked them to the docks and bid them goodbye.
