Vandal Savage's fallen warriors were buried in this section of the Paris Catacombs. They were placed in the walls, in the ground, and even thrown into the aqueduct system then added to a magical security system. If it was set off by interlopers, the dead would be reanimated and attack. In the present, the catacombs were stirred by the Suicide Squad, Deadman, and Scandal Savage. The undead warriors reanimated and made their way to them in the temple room of the 36th chamber. Ms. Clay noticed a crystal ball and inquired about it. Chimera sensed the undead as they neared. Amanda Waller ordered them to keep Savage safe. The undead began to clog up the tunnels and cut off any possible exit. Savage led them through a secret passage but they ended up facing the ancient aquatic creature sacrifices were made to in the Catacombs. It went back to its slumber after it ate Chimera but more zombies blocked the exit. Deadshot, contracted by Waller, found them and blew off the heads of the zombies with the last of his ammo.
