Hellhound is a costumed martial artist known to have crossed paths with Batman. His costume and motif is patterned after a demonic dog. Hellhound's fighting style is flamboyant at best. He was later recruited by Talia al Ghul to the League of Shadows. Hellhound was present at an interrogation of of Chuckie Sol, one of Black Mask's Made Men, for details on an incoming weapons shipment. Batwoman intervened and attacked Electrocutioner. Hellhound leaped at her. She broke his arm, he countered with a left punch, then she hit in the face and kneed him. Batman soon entered the battle. Batman dodged Electrocutioner's blast, ducked Hellhound's kick, backhanded him and used him as a shield to take Electrocutioner's next shot. After crashing Killer Moth and Firefly into each other, Batman shoved Hellhound into Electrocutioner then unleashed a combo of hits on the latter. Batwoman aimed her gun at Hellhound but Batman pulled it into the air. She dodged Hellhound, kicked him, he kicked, she tossed him, he did a leg sweep, she kicked, he did a roundhouse kick, and Batwoman countered with a kick.
Over two weeks later, Hellhound was part of the team that raided Wayne Tech's secret vault on sub-level three. Batman (Dick Grayson) and Batwoman later stormed the Sisters of Perpetual Grace convent outside Gotham City. As Batman made his way into the compound, he encountered Hellhound. After a brief exchange, Hellhound performed a series of flashy moves and stances. Then debris fell on him as the compound collapsed due to Firefly and Killer Moth's pursuit of Batwing outside.
