On one November 15th, the Subterranosauri attacked a construction site in Metropolis. They were opposed by Superman and Superboy. Superboy tried to talk to Krull, who didn't know much English, but got knocked into a pile of caissons. He was confused since Subterranosauri are supposed to be humanity's allies. Krull threw a drill at Superman, knocking him back and taking out several pillars of the building being built. Superman held it up but Krull attacked with a crane pulley. He froze Krull with his super breath. Krull was later thawed out and was present at the peace ceremony between humans and Subterranosauri.
