CEO Thomas Weston refused to end the project and paid off anyone who could have allied with them. They managed to record Weston but he hired Livewire to force their silence after they were laid off. Natasha pointed John Irons to Flamebird for help. Flip Johnson then led Jimmy Olsen and Superman to Irons' home in Bakerline. They were interrupted by Livewire, who managed to destroy his evidence. Irons and Superman headed to Amertek to shut down the fusion core before it took out the city. Irons donned a mech suit and helped Superman neutralize the core. Irons helped with the clean up but was suddenly told he was banned from the property.
