Zazzala and Tazzala, the CEO and chief biologist of the World Organization for Romantic Matchmaking Science (or W.O.R.M.S.) respectively, invited Jimmy Olsen to their exclusive matchmaking launch event and to try their dating app. At the event, Olsen and Clark Kent were asked about their first impressions for promotion of the app. Olsen was amazed by the robot waiters and VR date night. Kent wasn't amazed and stated he didn't sign the release form. The production team blurred his face. Kent wished Olsen luck and left. Zazzala and Tazzala floated down with retractable wings. Olsen recalled Tazzala was Zazzala's girlfriend. Tazzala didn't say anything and walked away. Zazzala revealed they broke up because of communication issues. Olsen asked if it was because Tazzala didn't talk. Zazzala didn't want their starcrossed love to distract him from his scientifically selected "soilmate." She directed Olsen to a booth where his match, Doris, was waiting.
Doris knew who Olsen was and that he was a friend of Superman. She told Olsen she was dying to meet him and was so interested in his body then slid across the table to him. Olsen was flustered. Doris asked him specifically how much he had been exposed to Kryptonite and if he noticed any affects. Olsen didn't really notice any. She told him her name was "Doris" but friends called her "Gigi." He joked friends called him "Jimmy." She told him she was looking for an open minded person. Olsen quickly replied that was him. She admitted she tended to change people. Olsen said he was open to change. She was pleased and sprayed the air then told him she was just setting the mood. She asked him if he had been to space and was affected by that then fed him a cube of chocolate. She asked about interdimensional travel. He replied he hadn't recently then she poked his hand. Olsen thought it was going well and was on his way to making Supergirl jealous but was totally oblivious to the fact that he was changing into a werewolf.
Doris asked him to tell her more about himself. Olsen talked about how he did investigative journalism for the Daily Planet and he was supposed to be looking for The Distortionist. She was intrigued. Olsen vowed he would find him and nothing ever got past him. Olsen finally noticed his transformation. In a confessional, Olsen claimed he noticed something was up but he didn't want to ruin the vibe. He wasn't sure if anything could turn his day around. The crew, off screen, whispered to Olsen they could fix him. He gave the thumbs up. Outside, Zazzala apologized to him and hoped the incident wouldn't taint his experience at the event or his online review. She pressed a gun to Olsen that seemed to change him back to normal. However, it soon became apparent his endoskeleton was melted by accident. She promised to fix his condition. Tazzala returned and their romance reignited. She tasered Olsen and his endoskeleton was restored.
Doris declared she was Giganta, grew into a giant, and kidnapped Olsen then climbed up the Daily Planet. Zazzala and Tazzala helped Superman defeat Giganta by melting her endoskeleton. Olsen thanked Superman and considered getting off the dating apps. Tazzala dropped him. Zazzala asked him not to lose faith in scientific romance and offered him a paid sponsorship from W.O.R.M.S. if he agreed to stay with them. Olsen declared he was back on. Tazzala picked him back up. Zazzala asked Superman if he was in. Superman stated his appearance was not an endorsement. His face was quickly blurred by the production team.
