In anticipation of Supergirl being at the Metropolis' tenth annual The Curt Swan Awards For Humanitarian Excellence ceremony, Dr. Poison arranged for several of her henchman to release her mutagenic gas directly into the city's water supply at the Metropolis Dam. Supergirl left for the dam and blew up all the gas containers with heat vision before the henchman would unleash them. Shark radioed Fox to report Operation Make A Splash was compromised.
