Season Three

On Halloween, Lex Luthor sent a drone to the decommissioned Project Caliban facility to procure a Kryptonian clone designated B-1Z. A battle between the clone and the drone played out across the base until all but the head of the drone was trapped in a room. The head observed and recorded the arrival of Superman, Supergirl, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen. The sound of the drone pounding the room caused the clone to run off with its pet. Superman heard "help me" and unwittingly freed the drone. It reconnected its head then fired a palm blast. Superman grabbed Lane and Olsen before they were hit. The drone resumed its attack on the clone. The pet was unable to hit the drone with its freeze breath. Superman came to the clone's defense and repelled the drone's palm blast with his heat vision, realizing the drone was trying to take him. Superman connected with an uppercut and crushing right. The drone wrapped itself around Superman and activated its self-destruct sequence. Due to the explosion, the base determined operational security was compromised and the base was flooded. The clone grabbed the pet and Superman and made it to the surface. Luthor saw enough from the drone's feed and didn't care to retrieve its remains.

On November 15th, Cyborg Superman took control of the Lex drones and broke away from his alliance with Lex Luthor. During the final battle with Hank Henshaw, Superman was pinned by three drones. Henshaw revealed his Kryptonite core. Out of self-preservation, Lex Luthor attempted to shut down Henshaw. He managed to sever his connection to the drones and they deactivated. Henshaw later assimilated drone parts after Superboy and Supergirl ripped his arms off.

Hypertimeline

In a version of the future, Metropolis was left in ruins and dominated by Lex drones. Superboy made his way into Lexcorp. Jimmy Olsen and John Henry Irons exchanged fire with several drones while Lex Luthor hurried Superboy in. Irons placed an S shield over Superboy's. Drones blasted their way in. Luthor placed a Time Travel Watch on Superboy's wrist and told him the only way he could help them was the make sure all this never happened. The device activated and Superboy vanished just as Luthor was the last to be vaporized by the drones.
