At some point, Monsieur Mallah and The Brain created a mutant from a tree inside Area 52. Three days before Christmas years later, Ma & Pa Kent found the tree mutant in a storage room. They thought it was just a fake tree and began to decorate it for Christmas. Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen immediately assumed it was a mutant. Two arms resembling branches popped out from the tree. They quickly forced into a room and lied to the Kents the tree was bad and they would go buy a new one. It growled at them.
