During the girls challenge in the second leg of the contest for the keys to the Cosmic Anvil, Gsptlsnz warned those who were too slow or fell off the S'ivaan Mountain would fall into the Manticore trench. To ensure Scion Kara's victory, General Lois Lane grabbed Lois Lane and purposely took a fall down into the trench. They dodged the Manticore. General Lane wanted to find a way out but Lane wanted to hide. The former thought they were so different but as General Lane revealed her origins were very similar, the Manticore found them. Kara Zor-El was knocked down the mountain and landed between the Lanes and the Manticore. They were teleported to the next ring before the Manticore attacked them.
