The Whip aided a small gang who was previously stopped by Superman from robbing a bank. The leader wanted to do it quick and easy but Whip yanked a hydrant from its foundation with her whip weapon and chucked it into the bank's window. The leader pointed out the last thing they needed was a fight with Superman. Whip revealed that was what she wanted because she was out to become the highest paid muscle in Metropolis and needed to prove she could party with the Man of Steel. Superman arrived shortly after and was not pleased to see the same gang. Whip tossed him to his surprise. He cautioned he didn't want to hurt her. She implored him to try and activated the Kryptonite integrated into her whips. Superman was surprised she brought that to a bank robbery. She mused it was easy to get after Braniac's robots left it all over the city last year.
The Whip slammed him around and was shocked to discover Superman was not paid for his heroics. She found it sad and advised him never to give away what people would happily pay for. Superman noticed the power levels on her pack decreasing. She called his low income a real turn off. Soon enough, the Kryptonite feature turned off. Superman tied her to a crosswalk pole with her own whips. She promised the fun was just beginning. Superman insisted he had more than enough and flew away. She mused she loved him.
