Despite the reach of the United Planets and Science Police, there are still areas where transports can be targeted for theft if a small force can employ the correct strategy. The Sand Raiders utilize desert conditions to launch a blitzkrieg style strike on transport vehicles. Aboard their customized exo-suits, the Raiders strike in a unified mechanical force at a small section of the transport without regard to their flanks.
The group attacked a medical transport carrying Sector 10 Colony Decontamination Units but were defeated by the Light Speed Vanguard. Most of them retreated into the surrounding desert.
