Commissioner Gordon had Batman summoned to a Gotham Storage facility. Police cars had the entrance blocked off. As Batman walked down the hall, two police officers at the end lifted the police tape for him. Detective Bullock was waiting inside for him. Four dead men with Joker's infamous smile were seated before a stage and microphone. Batman remarked it wasn't any different from any other night in Gotham City. Bullock revealed the coroner estimated they died about three years ago. They recalled the dentists' convention from around the same time when a handful of conventioneers went missing and their back accounts were emptied out. Batman asked Bullock to tell Gordon he'd like to talk to him.
