A few nights after the murder of crime boss Carlos Francesco, Batman and the police got a tip that Paris Franz was hiding out at the docks. Batman swept the docks in the Batmobile and took a call from Batgirl. Batman decided they would talk later. Just as Batman closed the channel, Paris Franz fired a RPG at the Batmobile and knocked it on its side. Lonny handed him another launcher. Batman ejected in time before the second RPG struck the Batmobile. Injured from shrapnel, Batman hid and took out Franz men with Batarangs. Batgirl arrived on her motorcycle and grabbed a rope with a hook on the end. She knocked out Lonny, Franz' accomplice, then dragged Franz into a stack of crates. Batgirl lost control and punched Franz relentlessly. She finally stopped and turned to Batman. Police were drawing in on their location.
