After Paris Franz failed to steal an armored car, he and his accomplice Lonny went to his uncle Carlos Francesco's office the next day. Lonny noticed a lot of photos on the wall. Franz remarked his uncle was big on family, even the ones he's hit. Francesco was upset with all the coverage on the news. Franz admitted he thought Batgirl was hot. Francesco didn't find him funny and stated he lost four men and was out $100,000. Francesco wanted every cent paid back to him or else. Franz later tricked Batgirl into sneaking into the office and guided her to a closet. She discovered Francesco's bullet-ridden corpse was inside. Francesco's men heard a noise and Batgirl was forced to scramble. After throwing a chair at one of them and dodging bullets from another, Batgirl leaped down and ran to the seventh floor's elevator but the men continued shooting. She was forced to take cover. The elevator opened and Batman took everyone down.
