The Royal Flush Gang is a group of criminals fashioned after the superior card hand, the Royal Flush - an Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and Ten in the same suit of Spade. Vandal Savage used the Gang as pawns in his larger scheme by anonymously giving them a Dimensional Displacement Generator to test. They quickly incorporated the device into their thefts by slipping in and out of buildings without alerting others of their presence. The Justice League became aware of the thefts and actively pursued them to no avail. Eventually, the Justice League captured them during a diamond theft. Only King managed to escape but he was quickly neutralized by Cyborg as he made his exit. The League used Wonder Woman's Lasso of Truth and Martian Manhunter's telepathy to interrogate them but discovered nothing.
