Teela is a young child of the Zoar. He wishes to be a great warrior and was instantly smitten with Kilowog. When Kilowog was unsure of helping the Zoar defeat the Nidara, Teela pleaded with him. Although just a child, Teela actively participated in Kilowog's training session and the actual battle. Norman carefully disarmed Teela of Yellow Minerals and the two became fast friends. Before the Lanterns departed, Teela revealed a doll he created so he would remember Kilowog.
