After a group of females separated from the Guardians of the Universe, they settled on a planet in Frontier Space. They named it Zamaron and declared it would be a place where they would evolve according to their belief in love. The Star Sapphire Corps were later founded on Zamaron and it served as their base. The Corps seem to have only physically remained in the sector to which Zamaron belongs but have sent their power rings to recruits beyond. They also lure men, whom are believed to be the source of war, and crystallize them in violet light on Zamaron.
Hal Jordan's group was taken to Zamaron under false pretenses but Aya eventually uncovered the deception. With the help of the Star Sapphire named Ghia'ta, Jordan's group left the planet. Some time later, Jordan and Razer returned to Zamaron to ask Queen Aga'po for her help. For the sake of preserving love, Aga'po agreed and generated to portal to Carol Ferris, Jordan's love, on Earth. Ghia'ta then opened a portal for Razer to find Aya on Oa. Zamaron was later invaded by Aya and the Manhunters. As a proxy for love in the universe, Zamaron was targeted by Aya for destruction. After witnessing Atrocitus' defeat, Ghia'ta's sacrifice, and the arrival of the Interceptor, Aya held off and vowed to eliminate the universe on one move then left Zamaron.
