The Red Lantern Central Power Battery was forged when Atrocitus gave into his rage. From the remains of Ysmault, the battery was forged. The interior almost looks like it is on fire with the power of rage within. The battery is currently located in the Battery Square section of Shard. From his quarters, Atrocitus can manipulate the battery and prevent a ring to be recharged. Such was the case when Razer returned. An elaborate light show made Razer believe his ring had been charged. Atrocitus later captured Aya and threatened to toss her into the Central Power Battery. Razer intervened and took her back to the Interceptor.
