A Pinhole is a microscopic black hole at the center of a whirlpool of energy. The closer someone or something gets to the pinhole, the stronger the pull of its gravity becomes. The Truvedon was caught in the pull of one such Pinhole but was saved by Hal Jordan, Kilowog, Razer, and Aya. With both engines back online, however, the Truvedon still couldn't reverse away from it and the Pinhole claimed part of the ship. Hal Jordan gambled and flew with the current in order to generate enough velocity to slingshot out of the Pinhole.
