The Battlin' Berthilda is a derigible blimp and the mobile base of the Steam Lantern and Lady Catherine. While trying to help Hal Jordan open a rift back to his home dimension, Berthilda was shot down by Duke Nigel. Hal Jordan and Steam Lantern gently "landed" it on the city before it crashed and caused mass destruction. Once Nigel realized the error of his ways and agreed to help the trio, Berthilda was repaired and took flight once more.
