The Cephalon is a giant beast with multiple tentacles. It has translucent skin and has been domesticated, to an extent, by the Star Sapphire Corps. As part of their plan to target males, they send the Cephalon to attack them in space. The Star Sapphire Corps then arrive and save the targets. Once the Cephalon is sent away, the Sapphires offer a brief respite. Even against Hal Jordan, Kilowog, and Razer, the Cephalon was a formidable opponent. Luckily, Ghia'ta assisted them and called off the beast so they could escape.
