Cleric Loran is a religious official that presides over a church on Shard dedicated to Atrocitus and the Red Lanterns. Loran has a low tolerance of soldiers with no manners in his church. While in disguise, Hal Jordan, got Loran to retell the story behind the origins of the Red Lanterns as depicted on a stained glass window.
