Steve Trevor is a confidante and romantic interest of Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman was initially assigned to escort Trevor back to Man's World after he crash landed on Themyscira. In the Flashpoint timeline, the two never met. Trevor became a Colonel with the United States Special Forces. He was assigned to extract Lois Lane from New Themyscira but she didn't appear at the rendezvous point. Instead, Trevor was pursued by Amazons. He was eventually captured by Wonder Woman with the Lasso of Truth. Trevor revealed his identity and mission then admitted Lane was the most beautiful woman he ever met. Wonder Woman decided to execute Trevor herself and flew up, effectively hanging him.
