In the Flashpoint timeline, Billy Batson never became Captain Marvel. Instead, a subway car holding Billy Batson, Eugene Choi, Pedro Pena, Mary Batson, Freddy Freeman, and Darla Dudley were taken the wizard Shazam on the Rock of Eternity. Each child was given as aspect of the power of Shazam. Choi was given wisdom of Solomon, Pena the strength of Hercules, Mary the stamina of Atlas, Freeman the power of Zeus, Batson the courage of Achilles and Dudley the speed of Mercury. When they spoke the name "Shazam" in unison, the children combined into the being Captain Thunder. Thunder was nearly killed by Wonder Woman and had a scarred face as a harsh remainder. After Batman, Flash, and Cyborg failed to recruit Kal-El, they took the catatonic Flash to the Shazam children's home. In the final battle, Cyborg shot Wonder Woman into a room where the children were. They turned into Captain Thunder and battled Wonder Woman. Eventually, she used the Lasso of Truth and forced Thunder to say "Shazam" to revert him back into the children. Wonder Woman quickly killed Billy Batson.
