Catwoman broke up one of Leviathan's human trafficking cells and liberated several women in Sochi. She started going on a tear across Europe stealing jewels to finance a new life for these women, including one named Anya. She arrived in Spain and infiltrated a costume party at a manor. Dressed in a classic Catwoman costume, she flirted with Black Mask. Unaware she was the real Catwoman, Mask was instantly charmed and took her inside with him. He excused himself to conduct business with Lady Barbara Minerva. After socializing with guests, Catwoman slipped away and put on her real costume then scaled the exterior upstairs. She avoided a guard and found Minerva's vault. Using her hearing and going by feel, she opened the vault then used powder in a compact to reveal the security laser grid around the Cat's Eye Emerald. Utilizing the pipes in the overhead ceiling, Catwoman used her acrobatic skills and momentum to dive through the grid without tripping any of the lasers.
