The Fightback Movement is a national social movement focused on the socioeconomic inequalities created by corporations manipulating the global financial system. Protests sprung up across the United States in America in New York, Los Angeles and Metropolis. They singled out billionaires for corruption such as Simon Stagg, Steve Dayton, and Lex Luthor but admired others like Bruce Wayne. For several months, Anarky visited camps across the nation as Robert Catesby and rallied them to come to Gotham City and promised on Guy Fawkes Day, the Fightback Movement would earn its name. Anarky would kill Simon Stagg in the middle of the Fightback Movement and spark a war between the haves and have-nots.
Upon their arrival, the Mayor directed the Police Commissioner to assign his officers to protect Stagg Industries and other Fightback targets until the crisis passed. Batman deduced Anarky was influencing the Fightback and had Katana mingle with protesters in her civilian guise. She learned of Catesby's visits and met with Batman atop the Stagg Center to stop Anarky and save Stagg. Shortly after midnight, November 5, Fightback dispersed from the Stagg Center in light of Batman's revelations about Anarky.
