The Watson Building was selected by Batman to lure Deathstroke out of hiding. Batman did an interview with Madison Randall with the clock tower across from the Watson Building partially visible in the recording. Anarky saw through the ruse but Harvey Dent dispatched the Special Crimes Unit anyway. The final stand off took place on the roof but Deathstroke revealed himself, disguised as an SCU officer, and took Dent out. James Gordon landed a helicopter and Katana converged. However, the plan went astray and the helicopter, with Batman and Deathstroke in it, crashed. Anarky found Dent and woke him up. Dent believed Batman was dead and focused on taking Anarky out. The pursuit was broken up by James Gordon.
