The Gotham Supermax Prison, or Federal Super Max Isolation, is a super-maximum security reserved for criminals deemed global threats. After the Key stole Sirenox Software's encryption code, Batman recommended he be imprisoned at the Supermax. Battleaxe was imprisoned in Supermax after she was defeated by Katana. Framed for murder, Katana infiltrated the Supermax and went through the ventilation system to speak to Battleaxe. After she declared her plans to take down Katana and the criminal underworld, Katana left. Soon enough, Christine Banner, the apprentice who framed Katana, was arrested and shared a cell with her mentor.
