Junkyard Dog is a street artists known for his sculptural destruction. Junkyard's weapon of choice are often power tools like chop saws. After he and his partner-in-crime, Daedalus Boch, were kicked out of every art gallery in Gotham City, they lashed out at what they perceived as creative oppression. While vandalizing Castle Hardware, Boch and Junkyard were defeated by Batman. Anarky freed the two and armed them with weapons. They followed Anarky's instructions and began attacking the Queen Street Gallery, one of the art galleries who kicked them out. However, they were defeated by Batman and sent to prison. Anarky soon busted them out and gifted them with high-tech suits. Junkyard's suit was equipped with metal clamps for easy lifting and destroying. Junkyard and Boch fled the scene when a remotely-operated Batmobile attacked them. Anarky had them distract Batman but Boch and Junkyard surrendered. They were arrested by the police. Boch relished in the idea his art would become more valuable upon his second arrest but Junkyard pointed out he wasn't that talented.
