General Lane is an official responsible for the U.S. military's technology budget. He attended the new technology summer showcase at the Wayne Tower. He introduced himself to Bruce Wayne and mused if the demonstration went as well as it was supposed to, he was going to make Wayne a richer man. Wayne quipped he was very pleased the General attended. Lane was very impressed with the Wayne Enterprises Drilling Mech but he realized Wayne was nowhere to be found. He looked around. Oliver Queen slipped away and joined Batman and Robin at Arkham Asylum, as Green Arrow, to deal with a break-in.
