Gotham Power is a nuclear facility that provides Gotham City's power supply. On the night of November 1st, Solomon Grundy pulled up to Gotham Power posing as a pizza delivery boy on a scooter. Grundy approached the guards just as they talked about what to eat for dinner. After they discovered the pizza box was empty, they recognized Grundy and were knocked out. Grundy proceeded into the plant and stole an atomic battery. He loaded it into the Joker's ice cream truck. Nightwing arrived first and took on Grundy. Nightwing was no match one-on-one and was slammed into a wall. Grundy departed to catch up with the Joker.
After the Jokertown incident, Batman, initially in his Battle Armor, fought Bane outside the facility. However, Bane's enhanced strength exceeded the integrity of the armor and he bashed it to pieces. Batman took to a nearby roof on the lot and launched gas balls at Bane to no avail. He was knocked into a reactor room. Arming his Batarang Launcher, Batman knicked the Venom feeder device on his chest. Bane lunged but Batman leaped over him and shot the part of the feeder device on his back with three Batarangs. The Venom discharged and the lack of it reduced Bane to his normal self, barely able to move due to the heavy gloves. Batman knocked him out with an uppercut.
