During a confrontation with Batman at the Gotham Zoo, Penguin armed himself with a simple looking metal gauntlet. A penguin shaped blaster activated and opened fire on Batman. Batman was defended and armed by Ace. The beak on the blaster popped up and revealed itself as a sword. Batman and Penguin fought until the latter was disarmed and punched out. The sword fell apart.
