Joker Brand Laughing Gas is a deadly toxin invented and used by the Joker. Victims exposed to it, usually in gas form, are paralyzed in a state of hysteria -- laughing without end and their lips are forced into a grin. The gas is loaded into his lapel flower. Joker planned to flood the Gotham National Bank's vents but arrived to find Scarecrow already on the roof about to initiate a similar plan. Joker blasted Scarecrow with the toxin, but he was protected by his gas mask.
