Mr. Freeze stood triumphantly atop his Freeze-Mech, a giant ice construct of himself, after he froze Gotham City. Nightwing tried to attack it in the Batmobile but Mr. Freeze's counterattack with Freeze Gun blasts forced him to retreat. Batman managed to fire two missiles from the Batplane into the Mech's chest but Freeze blasted the plane's engines. Batman connected the plane's remaining parts to the Batmobile and joined Nightwing. Nightwing made another pass at the Mech and fired into its head. It and Freeze fell to the streets.
