The Freeze Gun is Mr. Freeze's main weapon and much to its namesake fires cold blasts. In a battle, Batman overloaded and destroyed the gun with a Batarang. Freeze employed his new Freeze Gun to immobilize the Gotham Police Arkham Division and break out Killer Croc, Bane, Chemo, and Clayface from their cells. After the Penguin double-crossed Freeze, he took his Freeze Gun as a souvenir. Some time later, while atop his Freeze Mech, Mr. Freeze rapidly fired from an upgraded model at the Batmobile and forced Nightwing to retreat. After the Batplane scored two direct hits on the Mech, Freeze fired his gun and froze the plane's engines.
