The CybeRex is a robot version of a Tyrannosaurus Rex painted in Batman's blue, gray and yellow color scheme. It bears the bat emblem on its hind legs and at the end of its tail. While in the artificial intelligence world, Batman created the CybeRex to help battle the Joker and his AI. He blasted the Jokers with the Rex's laser cannon but only created more Jokers. Once Shoto's virus was uploaded, Batman uploaded it into CybeRex as well. After the tip of its tail glowed blue in confirmation of the upload, they attacked the Jokers and converted them into Batmans. CybeRex headbutted the last Joker and roared in triumph as it turned into a Batman. Once the Jokertown incident was over, Batman built CybeRex and added him to his arsenal of Cyber Animals.
Outmuscled by the Joker and his Joker Robo Rampage Armor, Batman tapped the center buckle of his utility belt and summoned the CybeRex to the Boardwalk. Batman leaped onto the seating area on the CybeRex's back as it charged head first into the Rampage Armor. It bit into and tore off the armor's right arm. As Joker tried to react, Batman activated the laser cannon hidden under CybeRex's back and shot off the left arm. Unable to attack, Joker was knocked off the armor after CybeRex swung its tail and connected. Joker was imprisioned in the CybeRex's rib cage holding pen. CybeRex participated in a training session with Ace where Batman threw Batarangs around. Soon, it became a competition between the two Cyber Animals but they made amends over a belly rub.
