The Bat Tracer is a tracer shaped like a bat. In order to keep tabs on Dr. Langstrom and question him later about the Cyber-Animals, Bruce Wayne decided to somehow get close to Langstrom and plant a Bat Tracer. Oliver Queen took the tracer and finger flicked it across the room onto Langstrom's left leg while he gave a speech. After capturing the Cyber-Animals, Batman and his allies could not hack them and retrieve the intelligence they needed. Batman looked up the signal broadcast by the Bat Tracer on Langstrom and found out he was at Bumbershoot Mechanics. Batman and Nightwing infiltrated the building to extract Langstrom while Green Arrow distracted the Animilitia. However, in the course of battle, Batman realized Man-Bat was Langstrom.
