The BatATV is a quad modified in Batman's costume motif. It is armed with dual pulse cannons that can fire forwards or backwards. Dr. Langstrom rode the BatATV to Robin's location during Penguin and Mr. Freeze's assault on Gotham even though he thought it was way too fast. Langstrom presented digital blueprints for the L06-D-05 Laser Cannon. In the aftermath, Robin took the ATV and found Freeze's Ice Blast Armor then towed it back to the Gotham Police Headquarters. Robin later drove the ATV through the mountains with Clayface chasing after him. The pulse cannonfire had no affect on Clayface. He eventually caught up and tossed Robin and the ATV up in the air to land in his mouth. Bat Mech intervened but quickly was overpowered. Robin approached and shot the Mech's last freeze missile and froze Clayface in place. Nightwing used the BatATV in the test run of the Batmobile and Batplane's new modifications from Kirk Langstrom. He fired two foam missiles and placed a foam barrier in front of the tunnel entrance. The Batmobile took the Batplane's wings and took off into the sky instead. Nightwing and the BatATV kept going and ended up in the foam.
