Two-Face was once an admired attorney until a criminal threw acid on his face. Scarred both physically and mentally, Dent suffered from split personality disorder and because a criminal who based his decisions with a flip of his 1922 two-headed coin. When Penguin and Mr. Freeze broke into Arkham Asylum, they chose to leave Two-Face in his cell. Two-Face flipped his coin and concluded he didn't deserve to be freed. Penguin agreed with his assessment.
