Lucilee Diamond is a public defender assigned to Professor McElroy after King Tut was arrested for the theft of an irreplaceable bi-plane and robbery of citizens aboard a Nile Double Decker bus during a midnight tour of Gotham City. Since McElroy had no memory of his times as Tut, the interrogation yielded no results. Batman stated their only recourse to wait for the professor to see his day in court. Diamond stepped in and added if she had any say, he would leave a free man. After the room was cleared, she began advising her new client. During the trial, Chief O'Hara was called to the stand. Diamond asked him if McElroy ever broke the law when he was not King Tut. O'Hara was not sure and told her she would have to ask Batman. She asked O'Hara to confirm that when McElroy was not suffering the effects of a concussive state that brings on the King Tut identity, he was a mild-mannered, harmless member of society. O'Hara repeated the previous statement. Harvey Dent objected on the grounds that counsel was confusing the witness. Diamond quipped that was not hard to do. The judge overruled.

Diamond asked him if he tried to extract a confession by bludgeoning McElroy to recreate a concussive state. Dent objected and pointed out King Tut was on trial here, not the professor. O'Hara sobbed and confessed to hitting McElroy during interrogation. Diamond had no further questions. Dent twisted Batman's words to make it an opinion that Tut had to be sent to prison in order to get the rehabilitation he needed and pointed out Tut used McElroy's knowledge of his crimes, making the professor the real mastermind. Diamond lost the trial and McElroy was sentenced to 15 years with possible time off for good behavior. One night, a black cat entered Gotham State Penitentiary and rubbed on Lucilee Diamond's leg. Diamond was unaware the cat was Hecate, Catwoman's pet. She was smitten and picked Hecate up. Hecate purred. Diamond went to Catwoman's cell to tell her the parole board denied her request. Diamond noticed Hecate purring again and asked Catwoman if the cat was a friend of hers. Catwoman confirmed Hecate was.

Hecate snarled and slashed Diamond's left arm. The drugs acted fast. Diamond gasped, groaned, and lost consciousness. Catwoman congratulated Hecate and declared he earned an extra treat. She petted the back of his neck and he purred. Catwoman took Diamond's clothes and put her costume on Diamond and escaped. When Diamond came to, she woke up in the cell with Catwoman's costume on and Catwoman standing outside the cell wearing her clothes. Diamond screamed for help. A female guard banged her cell door and told her to pipe down, or she was going in solitary. Diamond looked at herself in the mirror and commented she looked "purr-fect."
