Hugo Strange occupied an abandoned Gotham Plastics factory in a very run down area after Warden Crichton had him fired from Gotham State Penitentiary following the Evil Extractor incident. Strange vowed he would show everyone and quietly rebuilt and improved the Evil Extractor. He was annoyed with a sudden blackout and turned on a bunsen burner. He gasped as he came face to faces with Two-Face. Two-Face asserted they had unfinished business and grabbed him by the collar. Strange dropped the burner and screamed.
