The Bat-Boot Jets are rocket propulsion devices located in the boots of Batman and Robin. While King Tut prepared to seal Batman and Robin in urns with cement at the Pyramid Tower construction site, Batman got an idea and told Robin to follow his instructions precisely. He told Robin to press the back of his soles against the side of the jar and the heat from the chemical reaction of the cement might trigger the Bat-jets. They both strained and grunted. The Bat-Boot Jets activated just as they were covered completely with cement. They shot out of the jars and landed on the Tutlings. Unable to take out Two-Face's bi-plane from the ground, Batman activated the Batcycle's ejector seats so they could gain enough altitude then activate their Bat-Boot Jets. Once they got high enough, they tapped their boots and the jets propelled them to the plane. However, the Bat-Boot Jets deactivated short of it and they scrambled to the tail of the plane.
