The Bat-Analyzer is a machine in the Batcave that contains the information of two sets of encylopedias which allows it to collect and analyze data in mere seconds. The Joker, Penguin, Catwoman and Riddler left Batman and Robin a piece of tinfoil after escaping them in the streets of Gotham. Batman used the Bat-Analyzer. Its analysis was printed out. Batman focused on amorphous semi-crystalline layers and deduced there was traces of gravy on the foil. Batman and Robin deduced the villains were hiding out at the Fitzsimmons' Frozen Food Factory. After Commissioner Gordon and Chief O'Hara briefed Batman and Robin about a bi-plane stolen by King Tut, they returned to the Batcave. The Bat-Analyzer was put to work. Batman read its print out and learned the plane was owned by Thomas Hewell, a man who made his fortune through Egyptian cotton. Batman realized Tut was targeting the midnight tour sponsored by the Nile Double-Decker Bus Company.

After Robin was exposed to Evil Essence and captured by Batman, he tested Robin's costume for any foreign residue. The Bat-Analyzer detected his cape contained traces of a fine blue chalk. Batman revealed the particular brand of pool chalk was used by only one place in town. Robin deduced he meant the newly refurbished Winning Pair Casino, where Harvey Dent was holding his bachelor auction.
